Seedrun is a protocol for collaborative, verifiable game progress through randomness mining. Miners search for seeds — compact values that expand into controller inputs — that happen to drive a deterministic game forward, and submit the best ones to an Ethereum smart contract. A single canonical run is assembled segment-by-segment from these submissions, forming a verifiable, append-only chain of game state.

Getting started

  1. Download and run the Seedrun gateway.
  2. Add the ROMs of the runs you wish to participate in (Seedrun › ROMs › Add).
  3. Activate the runs you wish to participate in (Seedrun › Runs, select a run then click Add).
  4. Configure the miner: set the reward recipient address to the Ethereum wallet you want the mined coins to go to, and select the runs you wish to mine.
  5. Send a small amount of ETH to your miner's wallet to pay for Ethereum network fees so seeds can be submitted.
  6. Start mining (Click 'Start miner' in Mining page)
